Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Korean to English Translator & Social Media Coordinator who is fluent in both languages and has a deep interest in K-pop and Korean entertainment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in translation, social media management, and SEO fundamentals. You’ll be responsible for translating and posting Korean content to our English-language website, managing our social media channels, and supporting SEO optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

 

    • Translate daily Korean news articles, interviews, and other content into accurate, engaging English posts for our website.

    • Research K-pop and other Korean entertainment news to create relevant and timely content.

    • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage posts across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) to engage our audience and grow our following.

    • SEO Support: Implement basic SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings, including keyword usage, tagging, and linking strategies.

    • Audience Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms to enhance community engagement and brand loyalty.

    • Content Planning: Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm new ideas, trending topics, and strategies to drive engagement and audience growth.

Qualifications

 

    • Language Proficiency: Native or fluent in Korean and English, with strong writing and translation skills.

    • Social Media Savvy: Experience in managing social media accounts, particularly for brands or entertainment-focused audiences.

    • SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, keyword research, and tagging best practices.

    • Passion for Korean Entertainment: Enthusiasm for K-pop, Korean dramas, and other aspects of Korean culture, with an eye for trends and popular topics.

    • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately translate nuanced meanings and cultural references.

    • Tech Skills: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), CMS systems, and basic graphic design for social media is a plus.
